A caveman would not survive in this modern society. If you take a caveman and put them in this modern world, they would be jeopardized. They would be clueless, their brain would be fried, and nothing would make sense to them. Funnily enough, they might not be too wrong about that feeling. I know it— because I am one. I am a caveman in this modern world. You might say, “Hey, you are only alive because of this modern society. You would not survive a single day in the caves.” Or you might say, “I know your mom, she told us how they put you in a little glass tube after you were born. They didn’t have that in the caves. You would not even make it to a week without modern medicine.” And you would be absolutely correct. But a caveman brain would never survive in this modern world. I know it because I have one. You again might say, “We are so much better now. We have food on our plates and a roof over our heads. We have electricity lighting our nights, and water straight to our homes. They didn’t have it in the caves.” And that would get me thinking about how there are no caves in Dhaka. How would a caveman survive in Dhaka? No way a caveman can live here. I would be visibly worried. I cannot survive here. I would conclude. You would reply, “Cheer up blud, so many people have it worse.” And I would agree. And I would be more stressed. And that would make no sense. So, I would ignore them. And I would ignore you. And I would tell myself, I am just a caveman in clothes with my caveman brain. How am I supposed to understand this modern social maths? Duh?
